When running with pole, keep your back hand at hip height and your front hand at chest height. Both arms should be straight while travelling through the air.
Run Jump Throw Wheel featured as part of PlayOn! Parasport starting April 7th
The Run Jump Throw Wheel program will be featured as part of the PlayOn! PARASPORT program taking place that the Etobicoke Olympium on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 8pm, April 7 through May 5, 2015.

Play On! PARASPORT provides sport opportunities for children, youth and adults who have visual impairments, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, amputations or other physical disabilities with the chance to try a variety of parasports in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Participants can also bring along their siblings or friends to join in on the program.
This one of kind program will introduce parasports such as goalball, boccia, para-swimming, wheelchair racing and other track events, sledge hockey, wheelchair sports such as basketball, rugby, tennis, curling and more in four to six-week blocks. This multi-sport line-up allows participants to experiment with a variety of activities to find the one that suits their needs, interest and ability. Participants will be grouped by age and all necessary equipment will be provided. In addition to basic skill development, participants can be connected with their local parasport clubs to keep the learning going.
